Reporter Privacy and Data
How data is used in StreetVet animal assistance reporting.
1. Required information
No account is required. Reports require your name, email, WhatsApp number, incident location, animal condition, and front and side photos. Staff use contact details for follow-up.
2. Verification and staff access
Email is verified after saving the report without delaying delivery to staff. WhatsApp numbers are not automatically verified. Reports and photos are intended for authorized StreetVet staff.
3. Private report links
Status links contain a private code. Anyone holding the link can use it to view report status. Store it securely and do not share it.
4. Security sessions and preferences
The form uses security cookies to bind the session and protect submission. Theme preferences may be stored on your device. Contact details, locations, photos and report codes are not stored as drafts in browser local storage.
5. OpenStreetMap
When the map loads, your browser requests map images from the OpenStreetMap provider. The provider can receive your IP address and requested map area. Your name, contact details, photos and report content are not sent as part of map requests.
